CHERRY HILL COMMUNITY GARDEN – 2021 Guidelines

    in Community Garden

    1. COMMUNITY In the spirit of cooperation, all gardeners shall treat the garden, other gardeners, neighbors, and visitors with respect and consideration.

    2. QUESTIONS Any questions, concerns or suggestions please contact the Garden Coordinator at: garden@cherryhillliving.ca

    3. PLOTS Garden plots will be assigned on a first come first serve basis. Future plot assignment plan to be discussed and determined at the end of the season.

    4. FENCING This area will be enclosed with a 7’ high fence to keep animals away from your plants.

    5. GATES Keep gates closed.

    6. PETS Please keep your pets out of the garden.

    7. CHILDREN Children are encouraged to help in gardens but are to be monitored to work on their own section.

    8. CHEMICALS All chemicals are not allowed in the garden area including pesticides.

    9. ROTTING Diseased and over ripe fruits/vegetables must be removed promptly.

    10. WATERING Water will be available at the garden area. Please be mindful of watering your plants and only your plants as some plants are finicky and require different water methods.

    11. HOSES Hoses must not cross over other plots. Hoses must be monitored and put away after each use.

    12. CLEANLINESS Please keep your area tidy, including tools, etc. as they can be tripping hazards.

    13. TRASH All Trash must be removed.

    14. PLOT MAINTENANCE All plots must be maintained. If the garden can no longer be maintained, for any reason, please contact Garden Coordinator to advise who an alternate will be to clear plot.

    15. HARVESTING No harvesting from other plots without seeking permission first.
