Creating a Village at CherryHill Living

We’ve all heard the phrase, “it takes a village”. At Cherry Hill living, that couldn’t ring more true. Villages have it all, children, teenagers, parents, and those that are looking for their “last big adventure”. We love hosting people of all ages and interests and pride ourselves on bringing North Americans together.
For those of us that are looking for our “last big adventure” we want a place to look forward to, where the setting is vibrant and varied. We want to spend our retirement in a setting with people of all ages, our very own “village”. It’s all too common now for family members to avoid retirement homes thanks to the stigmas and stereotypes surrounding them. Even the name, “senior home” is a turn off!
At the end of the day, a village is a place where people look after one another. It’s a place where everyone feels comfortable being themselves and all generations look forward to visiting. As much as we’d like to think it were true, we know that grandkids don’t look forward to visiting senior homes and playing shuffle board. Cherry Hill Living goes beyond that. It’s a way for families to connect in a vacation space that reminds people of their times at the cottage or cabin. Spending time at Cherry Hill means your family feels less like they have to be there, and more like it’s a family vacation!
As seniors ourselves the one thing I know for sure is that the kids don’t want to look after us. We want to live in an environment where our kids have their own lives and look forward to visiting us, just to say hi!
So our question to you is, how great would it be to live in a village that’s full of young (both at heart and physically), vibrant, and fun people. No matter how much your grandkids care about you, they want to visit somewhere that’s a breath of fresh air. At Cherry Hill, we’re dedicated to making sure you have the best facilities at your disposal and a place to call home.
