In Community Garden
COMMUNITY
In the spirit of cooperation, all gardeners shall treat the garden, other gardeners, neighbors, and visitors with respect and consideration. QUESTIONS
Any questions, concerns or suggestions please contact the Garden Coordinator at:
garden@cherryhillliving.ca PLOTS
Garden plots will be assigned on a first come first serve basis. Future plot assignment plan to be discussed and determined at the end of the season. FENCING
This area will be enclosed with a 7’ high fence to keep animals away from your plants. GATES
Keep gates closed. PETS
Please keep your pets out of the garden. CHILDREN
Children are encouraged to help in gardens but are to be monitored to work on their own section. CHEMICALS
All chemicals are not allowed in the garden area including pesticides. ROTTING
Diseased and over ripe fruits/vegetables must be removed promptly. WATERING
Water will be available at the garden area. Please be mindful of watering your plants and only your plants as some plants are finicky and require different water methods. HOSES
Hoses must not cross over other plots. Hoses must be monitored and put away after each use. CLEANLINESS
Please keep your area tidy, including tools, etc. as they can be tripping hazards. TRASH
All Trash must be removed. PLOT MAINTENANCE
All plots must be maintained. If the garden can no longer be maintained, for any reason, please contact Garden Coordinator to advise who an alternate will be to clear plot. HARVESTING
No harvesting from other plots without seeking permission first.

One of the main goals in Community Gardening is to work together, next to each other, sharing tips and secrets of gardening. We look forward to the Community Garden season and a bounty of harvest to enjoy.
